Frequently Asked Questions

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to connect with new clients over the phone first for a quick meeting to discuss goals, any injuries, and gain better insight to what type of yoga would be best for them. Then I put together a class that incorporates all of the elements of yoga that would bring the most healing benefits.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
E-RYT 500, YACEP yoga instructor certified with Yoga Alliance.

What types of clients have you worked with?
I have worked with yogis of all backgrounds and ages from infants to folks in their 80's, beginners to fellow yoga teachers. I offer yoga to those dealing with chronic pain or injury, and I have worked with athletes to help them bring balance back into their bodies from repetitive use of muscles and cultivate keen self- awareness to enhance their athletic performance. I work with pregnant women, teach mommy and me yoga, kids yoga, and guided meditation. There truly is yoga for everyone.
Do you offer discounts?
I offer discounts for clients who purchase more than one session. I believe yoga should be accessible to all and am happy to negotiate pricing based on financial need.
What advice would you give someone brand new to yoga and looking to hire a yoga instructor?
Check their credentials and engage with them first to make sure your goals for the class match their skills set and that your values are aligned. Yoga is a practice that encompasses our physical, emotional, and mental bodies. It is important to mention any injuries or health concerns as well as stress levels, and to consult with your doctor before starting a new practice.
